Sometimes you just want the option to have a thinner or a thicker frame depth, and here at RapidStudio you do not have to settle with the stock that we have - you have options. Generally a thinner frame works better on smaller canvases, and the thicker 4cm frame works very well with larger canvases, but in the end it comes down to personal preference.
